Whenever I get the opportunity to speak to young people, I beg them not to become another broken victim of the lie of safe sex. The loss of one’s self-esteem, health and potentially their life is just too high of a price tag to pay for merely being used my another individual.

I am PROUD to say I am a virgin. Over the years I have been involved in a variety of ways with pro-life organizations and have more recently gotten involved in helping promote abstinence until marriage. When I was 11 years old, I made a commitment to be the best I could be and to expect nothing less from myself. As I read about all of the sexually transmitted diseases there are today, I am extremely thankful that I have never acquired any of these painful diseases. Because of the choices I made early in life, I have never had to choose between my dreams and providing for a little child. Whenever I get the opportunity to speak to young people, I beg them not to become another broken victim of the lie of safe sex. The loss of one’s self-esteem, health and potentially their life is just too high of a price tag to pay for merely being used by another individual.
